Life for Pot and Now Finally Free with Corvain Cooper, Jimmy Romans and Michael Pelletier

Today’s episode is a can’t miss episode. This is one to send to your friends. On today’s show three men who were sentenced to life in prison for selling pot join the show! They all were very recently released, granted clemency last minute clemency by President Trump.

Corvain Cooper was convicted of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute at least one thousand kilograms of marijuana, money laundering conspiracy and avoid IRS reporting requirements. Jimmy Romans was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana in August 2010. In February of 2013 Jimmy was sentenced to Life Without Parole, reduced in 2017 to 30 years.

Michael Pelletier was paralyzed from the waist down at the age of 11 in a farming accident. He used marijuana medically for years. He was charged with Conspiracy to Import and Distribute Marijuana. Sentenced to Life without Parole in 2006.
