Catherine is the founder of two groundbreaking incredible effective nonprofits: Prison Entrepreneurship Program (PEP) and Defy Ventures. PEP and Defy equip people with criminal histories to start legal businesses and careers and have produced recidivism rates of less than 7 percent.
