The Morning Roar: CT Gun Grab, County Prohibits NDAA, And TSA Searches For Bitcoins!

Welcome to the first installment of The Morning Roar (TMR), brought to you by the Lions of Liberty. TMR will be published every Monday - Friday morning. We intend to use TMR to share breaking news that affects your liberty!Connecticut Gun GrabOur first story reports on a discouraging development pertaining to the State sanctioned gun grab in Connecticut. We wrote in our last Felony Friday feature that the enforcement of a new state law in Connecticut turned more than a quarter million people into class D felons overnight. Last Friday, UniversalFreePress.com reported on a recorded phone call between a female caller and Connecticut State Police Lt. Paul Vance. During the call Vance admits that police could go door to door to confiscate guns and refuses to allow the caller to refer to him as a servant of the people. He actually responds by saying, "I am the master!" It would probably be best for any liberty lovers in Connecticut to move out of State. Nothing good can come from armed men banging on your door demanding you turn over your firearms.Idaho County Prohibits NDAANext on tap we have a positive story. BenSwann.com provided coverage from Gem County Idaho, where the people have voted to prohibit the application of the laws of war, including the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force and any similar law or authority. PANDA, which stands for People Against the NDAA, organized a group of forty activists that showed up at the Gem Country Commissioners meeting. The Restoring Constitutional Governance Resolution (RCG) passed 2-1. One of the Chairmen actually voted for the resolution by mistake! We'll take all the mistake votes we can get as long as the vote advances liberty.Check out a previous episode of the Lions of Liberty Podcast, where Founder and National Director of P.A.N.D.A. (People Against NDAA), Dan Johnson, joins host Marc Clair to discuss indefinite detention laws, and what we can do to stop them.TSA Searches For BitcoinsIn a bizarre story from dailyanarchist.com, a writer for the site shares a story about his recent experience with the TSA. The story takes a strange turn after the man makes it through security and is approached by two TSA managers who begin asking some rather odd questions. After peppering the gentleman with questions regarding the destination of his flight one of them states, “We saw Bitcoin in your bag and need to check.” Eventually, the agents stop pestering the man and allow him to go on his flight. Upon reflecting on the experience the writer concludes that the TSA must be training agents to look for Bitcoin users in connection to money laundering. Obviously, these agents either slept through the training, or the classes provided were so low quality that they neglected to mention that a Bitcoin is a virtual currency that cannot be "seen." The government should not be in the business of airline security and they certainly have no business policing currency exchanges. For more on Bitcoins check out this Lions of Liberty podcast where host Marc Clair is joined by Trace Mayer , author, entrepreneur, monetary scientist and expert on Bitcoin, the intriguing new digital currency . Trace breaks down exactly what a Bitcoin is, the advantages of using Bitcoin over other currencies, and responds to many common criticisms, including those of Gary North and Peter Schiff.Receive access to ALL of our EXCLUSIVE bonus audio content – including “Conspiracy Corner”, “Degenerate Gamblers” and the “League of Liberty Podcast” by joining the Lions of Liberty Pride and supporting us on Patreon!
